We have had an awesome workshop year and now it's time to take some time off for the summer. Our workshops will resume in September with our usual workshops plus some new items to make with instruction in power tools from Andy and then painting them
2019 Workshops - so far!
Our painting workshops are such a fun way to learn about Fusion Mineral Paint and products while producing an item you’ll be proud to display.
Click here to be added to our e-newsletter list for upcoming workshops such as Stenciled cushions, Farmhouse clocks, Reversible 4’ tall standing signs, and our standard Intro and Kitchen & Bath cabinetry workshops.
Who teaches the classes?
Alicia, one of the owners of Pepperwood, has been painting furniture for over 35 years and brings knowledge, patience and a sense of humour (spills happen!) to every workshop taught. Her emphasis is for the participant to take home something to be proud of - and that probably explains the popularity of the workshops.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, everything is provided for you, including an apron to cover your clothes. Participants may want to wear clothes that can get paint on them, however (see spills/sense of humour, above), as Fusion Mineral Paint does not come off fabric or leather.
What if something comes up and I can't attend the workshop?
Our policy is that if you can give us 72 hours notice then you can defer the missed workshop to any other one in the calendar year (a small upcharge may occur). There is no refund/exchange with less than 72 hours cancellation.
Do I need to take the Intro workshop before taking any other workshop?
No, the Intro workshop is not a prerequisite for the other workshops. However, you might wish to take it anyway because it covers all the basics of painting with Fusion - paint properties, brush technique, sealing options etc. and will give you confidence in tackling your other projects.
